Recently, Daphne Büllesbach, Managing Director of the Berlin Governance Platform, was invited to discuss the results of the European elections and the consequences for democracy. She emphasised the importance of dialogue at local level to restore trust and invalidate anti-democratic voices. Her argument is also based on experiences from the Berlin Governance Platform's ongoing projects, such as Municipal development councils and Re:Match.
